Kettoss had created dragons, then karapots, and he was very proud of them. However, seeing the very similar-looking bipedal creatures the other gods had created made him envious. He felt somewhat outcast, left behind, but somehow failed to imagine how he could fit in with them.
After an argument between his two sons over a burnt and partially crushed ancient tree, Kettoss salvaged what was left of the plant, and infused it with energy in the hope of reviving it. A seed germinated in the blackened bark and gave birth to a baby. The original amber-horned rokath was born. All the other gods gazed upon him, fascinated by his strange and fascinating appearance. And so, once again surrounded by his kin, Kettoss found joy.
Although born of ashes and discord, the Rokaths were made to bring people together.
